Jury for the Musica Sacra Contest

The 2020 contest will be held in the following categories:

  • 1. Children’s choirs up to 16 years old
  • 2. Mixed choirs
  • 3. Men or Female Choirs
  • 4. Vocal ensembles up to 16 people -male, female and mixed
  • 5. Seniors choirs

Choirs competing in the listed categories must perform a program with at least three contemporary a cappella songs including one song from a Polish composer.

Relevant scores should be attached to the application form. Performances are evaluated by the jury according to the following criteria:


  • Difficulty
  • Execution
  • Rhythmicity
  • Phrasing
  • Intonation


  • Style
  • Musicality
  • Reproductive suggestiveness
  • New techniques

Additional competition in the category:

  • S. Musica Sacra for all kinds of choirs

Auditions for the S-Musica Sacra contest are held in the St. Peter the Apostle’s Church in Międzyzdroje. Every choir is must perform a program including sacred music – presentation time up to 15 minutes. It is possible to perform songs with accompaniment

Grand Prix of the Festival in categories 1 to 5 are awarded diplomas:

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze

Category S. Musica Sacra – St. Peters the Apostles Amber Aureola and diplomas:

  • Gold
